"Several hurdles are faced due to some labour laws. There are 44 laws which are being reviewed by the centre," Rajnath said while addressing EPS Pensioners Felicitation programme here.
"Amendment proposal for 12 laws is ready. If required old and irrelevant laws will be scrapped," he said.
The Union Minister said that hike in minimum pension to Rs 1,000 by Employees' Provident Fund Organisation would create a burden of Rs 11,000 crore on the centre.
