"I can assure you that in the supplementary demand or in the next budget your NEC or DoNER will get more funds," Meghwal told reporters after a review meeting at NEC here.
He said that if you are facing some shortage of funds, the Centre will provide supplementary funds
As the Parliament session would begin from November 16, "I will ask the department to put up a supplementary demand so that we pass it in the upcoming session of the Parliament and NEC can get more funds," Meghwal said.
To a question, he said that NEC is proposing around Rs 2000 crore for the next budget for various fields.

The minister while reviewing the ongoing programmes and policies of the NEC also directed officials to focus on development particularly in the tourism sector.
On road sector, he said, "I have asked NEC to prepare a detail project reports. The Centre will definitely provide more funds because the Prime Minister is emphasizing that development of the North East would be a priority for the Government of India."
