A statement released here by Bahuguna's office said he had made the request to Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who agreed to send a team of doctors.
Bahuguna also toured Dharchula, one of the remotest part of the state, to monitor the rescue and relief operations.
However, due to bad weather, his chopper had to make an emergency landing at Rudraprayag.
The statement claimed that with this latest visit, Bahuguna had toured almost the the entire state, monitoring rescue and relief operations after the devastation caused by the cloudburst near Kedar Valley a week ago.

It said that today 700 people have been airlifted from Harsil. MI-17 choppers were involved in the rescue operation and till now, Matli, Bhatwari, Maneri have been fully evacuated, the statement added.
In all a 1,02, 600 stranded people rescued till date, it said.
Efforts have also been intensified to have exact details of the missing persons and facilities has been created on the state website so that friends-relatives can upload details or photographs of their near and dear ones, the statement further said.
