China with 40 per cent market share ranks first in the global ceramic market followed by India which at present contributes to 12.9 per cent of the global ceramic consumption resulting in Rs 25,000 crore of revenues, he said, adding, Morbi in Gujarat contributes to over 90 per cent of revenues to the sector.
The upcoming Vibrant Ceramics 2017, is the world's largest ceramics exhibition of finished products and will be held from November 16 to 19 in Gandhinagar in Gujarat, he said.
"The event will entail showcasing of the latest developments in the industry, latest cutting-edge solutions and products as well as seminars and thought-sharing sessions.

"The exhibition provides the platform for the worlds largest congregation of ceramic industry players from over 65 countries," Jetpariya said.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contribute to Rs 1,000 crore revenues to the ceramics, he said.
Reacting to a query, he said Andhra Pradesh Government had planned to set up a ceramic cluster and "We had discussion with the government.
