The championship's 45 drivers in three categories -- Micro Max (7 to 12 years), Junior Max (13 to 16 years) and Senior Max (15 and above) -- would have to put in top performances at the most important weekend.
While the top contenders will look at fortifying their positions, other drivers will look forward to grabbing as many points as they can in the highly competitive contest.
A popular venue for karting events, the 650-metre long track at Kart Centre, Lahari Resorts will present itself as familiar turf to the drivers, who will battle it out to win the most prestigious grassroots level motorsport championship in the country.
Driving delightfully, Micro Max category defending champion Pradyumn V Danigond (Team Mohite's Racing) looks poised for a perfect victory yet again. In the Junior Max category, Tejasram and Akash Gowda are giving leader Krishnaraj Mahadik (Team Mohite's Racing) some great competition.
