In a world where so many albums hit the store shelf every month, he is struck by the freshness and boldness of thoughts by many new gen singers, popular singer-actor-showman Shilajit says.
"A whole crop of new singers are now dominating the scene. It eggs me on to try new ideas and songs," he said here.
Pointing out only fresh and new concepts are here to stay, the Mahulbanir Sereng actor said audience are discerning enough to make out between the original and others.
Showmanship counts for a performer but the lyrics and music have to strike a chord, he said.
