Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today condemned the recent attacks on Sikkim registered vehicles at Siliguri in West Bengal.
Speaking at a function at Chisopani in South Sikkim, Chamling condemned the attack on Sikkim registered vehicles and said he has apprised the Centre about the matter.
"I am constantly in touch with the Central government regarding the security of our people along national highway 10," Chamling said.
The NH 10 connects Siliguri with Gangtok and is the lifeline of Sikkim.

The incidents of violence started after the Sikkim Chief Minister supported the demand of Gorkhaland and also wrote to the Home Minister, Rajnath Singh highlighting that the demand was a justified long pending demand of the people of the Darjeeling hills.
