Further, subdued demand in the spot market weighed on the prices.
At National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in May eased by Rs 15, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 3,623 per quintal with an open interest of 1,01,210 lots.
Likewise, the commodity for delivery in April traded lower by Rs 13, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 3,602 per quintal in 1,35,700 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at prevailing levels, fall in demand in the spot market mainly influenced chana prices at futures trade.
