At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in April fell Rs 19, or 0.53 per cent to Rs 3,592 per quintal with an open interest of 1,43,060 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in May declined by Rs 17, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 3,612 per quintal in 1,01,190 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators amid subdued demand in spot market kept pressure on chana prices at futures trade.
