At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in July fell by Rs 16, or 0.60 per cent to Rs 2,665 per quintal with an open interest of 73,220 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 15, or 0.54 per cent to Rs 2,776 per quintal in 1,39,940 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in chana futures to increased arrivals from producing regions against sluggish demand in the spot market.
