At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in June fell by Rs 60, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 6,035 per quintal, with an open interest of 12,850 lots.
On similar lines, the commodity for delivery in July traded lower by Rs 53, or 0.86 per cent, to Rs 6,138 per quintal in 7,510 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in chana prices at futures trade to low demand in the spot market against ample stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions.
