Chana prices fell 0.42% to Rs 3,117 per quintal in futures market today as participants trimmed positions, triggered by increased supplies from producing regions against low demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in February fell by Rs 13, or 0.42% to Rs 3,117 per quintal with an open interest of 82,880 lots.
Likewise, the commodity for delivery in January shed Rs 3, or 0.10% to Rs 3,077 per quintal in 14,100 lots.
