At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in June fell by Rs 22, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 5,935 per quintal, with an open interest of 5,340 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in July shed Rs 2, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 6,035 per quintal in 12,090 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants on the back of easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions kept chana prices lower at futures trade.
