Chana prices went up 0.53 per cent to Rs 3,828 per quintal in futures trade today as participants raised bets on account of increased demand from dal mills in spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in March rose Rs 20, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 3,828 per quintal with an open interest of 77,960 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in January contracts was trading higher by Rs 15, or 0.39 per cent, at Rs 3,859 per quintal in 9,050 lots.
