At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in October fell by Rs 25, or 0.41 per cent to Rs 6,013 per quintal with an open interest of 27,780 lots.
Likewise, the commodity for delivery in November shed Rs 3, or 0.05 per cent to Rs 5,998 per quintal in 28,370 lots.
Marketmen said offloading of positions by traders owing to slackened demand in physical market against adequate stocks position, mainly led to decline in chana prices at futures trade.
