At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in May fell by Rs 52, or 1.18 per cent to Rs 4,343 per quintal with an open interest of 21,070 lots.
On similar lines, the commodity for delivery in April moved down by Rs 51, or 1.18 per cent to Rs 4,285 per quintal in 34,660 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in chana prices at futures trade to subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing regions.
