At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in June month fell by Rs 71, or 1.20 per cent to Rs 5,823 per quintal with an open interest of 16,270 lots.
On similar lines, the commodity for delivery in July moved down by Rs 66, or 1.10 per cent to Rs 5,894 per quintal in 5,030 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in chana prices at futures trade to subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing regions.
