"He was produced before CJM Mathura Alpana Shukla who sent him to judicial custody," SSP Mathura Babloo Kumar said.
Earlier in the day, Bose made some startling revelations before the police during interrogation.
"Grain and paddy were collected from villages in the name of Baba Jai Gurudeo and brought to Jawahar Bagh in trucks. The plan of Ram Vriksha was to kill senior police officers in order to foil the district administration's bid to get the land vacated," Bose told the police.
"He was not only collecting Rs 10-15 lakh from big businessmen in the name of Baba Jai Gurudeo but also giving them authentic receipt of Baba Jai Gurudeo," the district police chief said.
Bose revealed that after every Dharna by residents of Mathura for vacating the Jawahar Bagh, Ram Vriksha used to tell the inmates that they should not worry as police cannot lathicharge or fire on them, since it was against the law.
