By virtue of their third win in Pool G, Chandigarh joined Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, Railways and Odisha in the last-eight stage.
Chandigarh opened their account through Rajini in the eighth minute but Karnataka equalised a minute before the half minute through a field goal from Chitra Korakutira.
After the change of two ends, Karnataka stepped up the pressure with Kulusmbi Dastagir surging them ahead with a 45th minute strike.
But Reena Khokher brought Chandigarh back into the match scoring the equaliser in the 59th minute.
Rajini the sealed the issue for Chandigarh in the 67th minute.
In Pool D, Indian Universities thrashed Jammu and Kashmir 11-0.
It was Universities first win in two matches as Reena, Anjali, Praveen Rana, Ansuli Chaurasiya, Sulekha, Pooja and an own Goal paved their success.

Bengal pulled off a fine 9-0 victory over Tripura in Pool H. For Bengal, Pupen Cicilia Kujur topped the scorers list with six goals followed by Sonam Purty (1) and Anjali Soren (1).
