Chandigarh had 12 goals in their two previous matches and conceded just once while the Afghans, despite being a team with more skills and attacking flair, have only four goals in their kitty after winning their two previous matches with an identical 2-0 margin.
Chandigarh will now play strong contenders Government Chawngfianga Middle School, Kolasib, Mizoram in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

It was a grim battle between the stubborn defence of Chandigarh and the skilful Afghan attack. The lads from Kabul hogged the lion's share of possession, but displayed a lamentable tendency of losing their wits in front of goal.
