Chandrapur city hottest in Vidarbha at 45.6 deg C

Chandrapur today recorded a maximum temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius, the highest in Vidarbha, as the region reeled under heatwave conditions.
Wardha recoded the second highest temperature in the eastern Maharashtra region at 45.4 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said here.
Nagpur, the second capital of the state, recorded 44.5 degrees Celsius.
Following were maximum temperatures in other important places in Vidarbha: Akola 43.3 degrees Celsius, Amravat 43.4, Bramhapuri 45.2, Buldana 40.4, Gondia 43.3, Washim 42 and Yavatmal 42.6.
