PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti today alleged that National Conference-led Jammu and Kashmir government has done nothing for betterment of the people of the state and a change in the government is imminent.
"A change in the government is writing on the wall and PDP aims at changing the entire system to ensure justice, development and increased opportunities of growth for all," Mehbooba said while addressing a public meeting in Baderwah constituency in Doda district.
On the fifth day of her campaign trail, Mehbooba claimed that all the regions and communities of the state are now eagerly waiting to become part of the change.
Mehbooba said that if elected to power her party will revive the "reconciliation, reconstruction, rehabilitation and development" process it had started during its brief tenure in the government between 2002-2005.
She said the forthcoming Assembly polls offer "historic" opportunity to the people to liberate themselves from the "exploitation" of the National Conference.
"You have to come out to vote for PDP for a bright future as both Congress and National Conference have done nothing for your betterment, empowerment till now," Mehbooba said.
