"A change in the government is writing on the wall and PDP aims at changing the entire system to ensure justice, development and increased opportunities of growth for all," Mehbooba said while addressing a public meeting in Baderwah constituency in Doda district.
On the fifth day of her campaign trail, Mehbooba claimed that all the regions and communities of the state are now eagerly waiting to become part of the change.
She said the forthcoming Assembly polls offer "historic" opportunity to the people to liberate themselves from the "exploitation" of the National Conference.
"You have to come out to vote for PDP for a bright future as both Congress and National Conference have done nothing for your betterment, empowerment till now," Mehbooba said.

Mehbooba claimed the people living in the entire Chinab Valley are facing hardships on multiple fronts.
Referring to the local issues, Mehbooba said Baderwah area after having remained the hub of education and intellectual activities even during pre-independence era has suffered deterioration in education.
Mehbooba said people here have to face immense hardships because of the lack of proper medical facilities also.
"Being mountainous area the people here have to travel a lot to get the treatment done in hospitals which at times becomes difficult for the patients particularly children, women and old age persons," she said.
