Charas worth Rs 3.5 cr seized in Bihar, Nepalese held

Sahastra Seema Bal officials today seized 18 kg of charas, worth around Rs 3.5 crore in the international market from a Nepalese man who was arrested in West Champaran district.
The Nepalese man was arrested while entering Bhangaha in West Champaran district after crossing the Indo-Nepal border riding a motorbike, SSB deputy commandant, 44th Battalion, Ajay Kumar Rajak said.
He was carrying packets containing 18 kg of charas worth nearly Rs 3.5 crore in the international market, he said.
The arrested person and the contraband were handed over to the police.
