Government-backed Islamic Relief have designed the posters with a slogan proclaiming glory to Allah, or "Subhan Allah", to raise funds for victims of war and disasters in countries such as Syria during Ramadan next month.
Ithas paid for hundreds of buses in London, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham and Bradford to carry these advertisements, 'The Sunday Times' reported.
These cities are being targeted for their large Muslim communities, with London hosting nearly 50 per cent of Britain's estimated 3 million Muslims.
"The bus campaign is about breaking down barriers and challenging misconceptions."
