The late actor, who starred in 'Ben Hur' and the original 'Planet of the Apes', got his own stamp in a special ceremony held at the historic Chinese Theatre in LA, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The stamp image of Heston, 84, is a painting taken from a photo which was shot by his widow, Lydia Clarke Heston who also attended the ceremony.
Heston's publicist Michael Levine, who had launched the effort to put Heston's image on a stamp was also at the event.
"Heston was an extraordinary guy, not just an extraordinary actor. He was a very unique man," Levine said.
