"Charred body of Nitin Agarwal (38) was found inside the car yesterday. We are probing the matter. Prima facie it appears that it was an accident", Superintendent of Police, (Rural) Gyan Prakash Chaturvedi said.
A forensic team has been called to assist in the probe while body of the victim has been sent for postmortem, he said.
The locals after seeing the car in flames had informed police but by the time the fire tenders arrived, the man had died.
