Chawrasia, Atwal, Randhawa tied-4th after Round 2

Defending champion SSP Chawrasia turned in a fine finish with three birdies in the last four holes to close the second day of the Resorts World Manila Masters at tied-4th, with five others including three Indians.
Chawrasia, second last week at Panasonic Open India, was four-under 68 that saw him get to 10-under for 36 holes. Arjun Atwal (67) added a second successive 67, while Jyoti Randhawa brought home an electric 64 with eight birdies and no bogeys.
The Indian trio was two shots behind three golfers, who are leading the field at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club.
Philippines' young talent 21-year-old Justin Quiban showed glimpses of his potential by firing a six-under-par 66 to take a share of the second round lead with Thailand's Arnond Vongvanij (67) and Phachara Khongwatmai (65).
Meanwhile, eight other Indians made the cut.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (67-71) was tied-26th, while last week's winner at Panasonic Open India, Shiv Kapur carded 68 to get to five-under 139 and tied-32nd alongside Ajeetesh Sandhu (72-67) and Chiragh Kumar (69-70).
Khalin Joshi (70-70) and Sujjan Singh (72-68) were T- 45th, while Himmat Rai was (72-69) and Honey Baisoya (71-71).
However, Udayan Mane (67-76), Aman Raj (69-74), Arjun Prasad (70-73), Rahil Gangjee (72-72) and S Chikkarangappa (77-72) missed the cut. Jeev Milkha Singh and Rashid Khan withdrew.
