CHC employees suspended for dereliction of duty

Six employees of the Community Health Center Gandoh were suspended today for dereliction of duty and remaining absent "unauthorizedly" in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gandoh ordered the suspension after he along with MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar inspected the Community Health Center (CHC) Gandoh, an official spokesman said.
During the inspection, a dental technician, a nursing orderly and four class IV employees of the centre were found absent from their duties, besides disposed material was found scattered all over the place. Even the patients were lying in completely unhygienic condition, he said.
The SDM immediately placed all the absent employees under suspension and recommended their names to higher authorities for desired action, the spokesman said.
He added that an enquiry has been initiated into the incident and an explanation sought from all the absentees within a fortnight, he said.
