: I-League champion Chennai City Football Club on Sunday announced a strategic partnerhsip with uhlsport from Germany to develop grassroots football in Tamil Nadu and across India.
The aim of this partnerhsip is to allow participants at the grassroots level to experience playing and enjoying football with superior quality uhlsport goods, a press note said.
A press release quoted Chennai City FC owner-director Rohit Ramesh as saying he believed the partnership will do wonders for grassroot football in Tamil Nadu.
"We are delighted to have such an esteemed brand on board with us. We believe that this partnership will work wonders for the development of grassroot football in the state of Tamil Nadu. We would be focussing on using the equipment exclusively for all the grassroot festivals and programmes conducted by us," he said.
