The company, Advantage Strategic Consulting Private Limited, which has issued the notice, said it had no connection with any transaction between the two companies in relation to Aircel and Maxis.
It also took objection to the allegation that Karti Chidambaram, son of Union Home Minister P Chidamabram, controlled the company in 2005-06 and said neither he nor any of his associates had any role in its management.
"Our clients wish to state categorically that neither Karti P Chidambaram nor any of his associates had any equity, directly or indirectly in the company in the year 2005-06," the lawyer for the company said.
Swamy on Friday had accused Chidambaram of delaying permission for the sale of Aircel to Malaysia-based Maxis in 2006 when he was Finance Minister so that his son Karti was financially benefitted.
Sources close to Karti had also denied the charges. PTI NES
