The 90-member state assembly will have just seven sittings from December 11-21.

"The Congress will try to move adjournment motions on key issues ranging from recent kidnapping of a minor girl in the capital to coal block allocation in Bhatgaon," Leader of Opposition Ravindra Choubey told PTI.

The ruling BJP is trying to cover up the actual casualty figures in Amamora (Gariyaband) case where an epidemic caused death of 30 tribals. We will draw the attention of the House on this issue, Choubey alleged.

In September and October this year, an alleged diarrhoea outbreak in some tribal populated villages of Gariyaband district claimed lives of about 30 people in the region.

Congress will also raise the Bhatgaon coal block allocation, indefinite strike by 'Shikshakarmis' (teachers), and deteriorating law and order situation in the state, he said.

To further chalk out the strategy to take on the government in the winter session, the party will hold a meeting this evening, Choubey said.
