As many as 35 MLAs of the Opposition party were suspended after they trooped into theWell of the House raising slogans against the government.
Amid uproar, Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal adjourned the House sine die, which was slated to end on August 11, after passing the supplementary budget and as many as ten bills.
Soon after the question hour, when the legislators were being given a supplementary business list for today, senior Congress MLA Satyanarayan Sharma raised an objection, saying it seems the government is in hurry to conclude the session fearing a discussion.
The Leader of Opposition TS Singhdeo also slammed the government, saying, "it is not appropriate for democracy. The session should be run till its scheduled period i.E Aug 11".

Subsequently, members of the Congress started raising anti-government slogans and trooped into the well of the House, following which they were automatically suspended as per the rules of the Assembly.
After the House reassembled, the opposition members again started sloganeering by entering the well.
Countering their allegations, Revenue Minister Premprakash Pandey said this is the first such instance wherein the opposition is protesting against the directions of speaker.
The opposition is trying to use the Parliamentary platform as a political platform, he said.
However, amid sloganeering, the speaker took up the further proceeding of the House.
Meanwhile, the first supplementary budget of Rs 1777,57,24,453 presented by Chief Minister Raman Singh, who also holds Finance portfolio, was passed. Besides, ten bills were also passed by voice vote.
However, three MLAs Amit Jogi (Marwahi), Siyaram Kaushik (Bilha) and RK Rai (Gunderdehi) sat on the floor of the well demanding that the session be reconvened as they were not allowed to present their issues in the House.
The monsoon session, started from August 1, was scheduled to conclude on August 11 with eight sittings. However, it was wound up in three days only.
