The state's Economic Survey Report for 2014-15, tabled in the State Assembly today by Chief Minister Raman Singh said state's GSDP (gross state domestic product) is estimated to grow by 13.20 per cent at current price against the previous year.
The report said the per capita income in 2013-14 was estimated to be at Rs 58,547, which is pegged to grow by 10 per cent to Rs 64,442 in the current fiscal.
The report underlined, as per advance estimate of GSDP at current price, during 2014-15, agriculture sector (agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishing) is expected to grow by 14.18 per cent, whereas industry sector (mining, construction, manufacturing and electricity, gas & water supply) and service sector is likely to grow by 10.62 per cent and 15.21 per cent, respectively.
As per first revised estimates (quick estimates) for 2013-14 at constant price, the GSDP registered a growth of 12.10 per cent, it added.
Share of agriculture, industry and service sectors in GSDP at current price are expected to be at 22, 38 and 40 per cent, respectively, in 2014-15, it said.
