"Our target is to provide skill development training to around 2 lakh youth so that they would have better means of livelihood," an official statement here said today.
Similarly, on the lines of the 'Digital India' policy, the Chhattisgarh state government has formulated a 'Digital Chhattisgarh' policy, the statement said.
4G and broadband would be used to connect cities, villages and colleges of the state, while as many as 40 places of five cities would be equipped with free wi-fi facilities, the statement said.
The previous year's government scheme under which 18,000 laptops and 46,000 tablets were distributed to engineering, medical and other students would be continued this year as well, the release said.
