The Chattisgarh girls bagged the national titles for ninth time in a row and 12th overall defeating Tamil Nadu by 79-42 in the finals.
The boys too made their state proud by winning the championship, beating Madhya Pradesh 57-47 in a closely-contested title match.
Chhattisgarh boys led their rivals by 23-17 at the end of the first quarter and extended their lead by 35-21 after second quarter.
By the end of the third quarter, the winners led 47-39 before emerging victorious by 57-47 at full time.

Chhattisgarh girls began with a bang against Tamil Nadu and led by 19 points at 29-10 over their rival at the end of the first quarter.
Maintaining their dominance, the winners extended their lead by 47-18 at second quarter and consolidated the gains at 66-33 after third quarters before winning the title by a margin of 79-42.
Gulbasha Ali top scored for the winners with 26 points, while Manisha (16) and Mahima (10) and Laxmi Sharavanti (10) also made significant contributions.
This was for the 13th time that Chhattisgarh girls reached the sub-junior national championship finals since formation of the state in 2000. They have won the titles on 12 occasions while finishing third in 2004.
