Expressing satisfaction at the repair work being done at Milon Mela area by the Army, Ghosh said the flood water won't reach Jalpaiguri town.
Accompanied by state DGP Naparajit Mukherjee, he later on left for Darjeeling Hills.
"We will discuss administrative issues and preparation for Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) polls with all the parties," the chief secretary said.
