Chikka was one of the four players who shot 65 in the second round.
Both Bhullar (69) and Chikka are at six-under 136 and five shots behind the Filipino Miguel Tabuena (68-65).
The only two other Indians made the cut -- Rahil Gangjee (74-69) and Himmat Rai (74-70).
Khalin Joshi, who had a fine 68 in first round, missed the cut after shooting 77 in second round and others missing out were Rashid Khan (73-73), Angad Cheema (71-76), Shubhankar Sharma (73-76) and Chiragh Kumar (75-75).

Bhullar, making a comeback from injury, had two birdies and two bogeys on the front nine and then had three birdies against no bogeys on the back nine.

The cut was set on even-par 144 with a total of 71 players qualifying for the final round.
