Adil's body was found in a nearby field with acid burn marks on his eyes, Superintendent of Police Satyaveer Singh said.
The motive behind the murder was being investigated, he said adding an FIR has been lodged against unidentified person in this connection.
According to the boy's father, Md Abid that he and his family had come to the village from Nainital only a month back for summer vaccation.
