Children in schools and anganwadis under Haryana government would get 200 grams of milk three days a week with effect from April next year, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said here today.
Addressing a meeting of BJP workers, he said the government would spend Rs 83 crore every year on this project.
"We are here to serve people who are part of our family and our declarations are not merely election promises to bargain with votes," Khattar said.
He said the 'Chief Minister Window' received more than two lakh complaints and majority of them have been resolved.
"Its efficacy has silenced our critics. For the first time in Haryana we are going to launch social audit to assess the quality of development projects. We are reaching at the doors of the public with new projects," he said.
About corruption, he said, "I accept that though total eradication of corruption has not been achieved but Prime Minister Narnedra Modi's resolve against corruption has resulted into greater transparency in offices."
"Report corruption to us and find action immediately," Khattar said.
