Red chilli prices fell by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 9,300-18,300 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also declined by Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 18,300-18,500 and Rs 21,200-21,700 per quintal.
Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists prevailing at higher levels against adequate stocks, mainly pulled down chilli and jeera prices.
Besides, tight money position following the government scrapping high-denomination notes to curb black money, too influenced trading, they added.
