Red chilli and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today in view of rising demand from stockists and retailers amid low stocks following fall in supplies from producing areas.
Red chilli and turmeric increased Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 7,600-15,300 and Rs 8,000-12,500 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said rising demand from stockists and retailers against fall in supplies from producing areas mainly pushed up chilli and turmeric prices.
