The state capital, Gangtok, was the coldest place in the state with minimum temperature of 6.3 degree Celsius, while the maximum was 13.6 degree Celsius.
Mangan in North district registered a minimum temperature of 8.2 degree Celsius while at Namchi in South district the minimum was 8.6 degree Celsius.
Gyalshing in West district registered minimum and maximum temperature of 7.9 and 15.8 degree Celsius respectively.
The Meteorological Centre in a bulletin has forecast light rain, thundershower, or snow (in higher altitude areas) over next two days which may intensify cold condition in Sikkim.
