Auto output hit nearly 1.94 million units in September, with year-on-year growth of 15.96 per cent and 14.87 per cent growth month-on-month, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said.
The volume is a 17.4 per cent monthly increase.
In the first nine months of 2013, auto sales totalled just less than 16 million units, an increase of 12.7 per cent from the same period last year, state-run Xinhua news agency said.
