PLA, which is currently undergoing massive modernisation, handling annual budget of over USD 132 billion, launched the website through its General Armament Department.
The website provides all information on the country's weapon and armament needs, relevant policies, procurement notices, enterprise lists and technology.
The new platform was established to cement military and civilian integration and aims to accelerate steps in armament procurement system reform, break procurement barriers, improve competitiveness and promote efficiency, said PLA General Armament Department.
Since last year, a series of policies have been issued to improve military and civilian integration, market access, information exchange, supervision, and security, it said.
