The United States has imposed new sanctions on 13 Chinese and North Korean organisations accusing them of helping evade nuclear restrictions against Pyongyang, a day after President Donald Trump declared it a state sponsor of terrorism.
As a permanent member of the UN Security Council, China has been comprehensively and strictly implementing North Korea related resolutions imposing sanctions, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang told media here.
He, however, said China will take action if any entity or individual is found to be involved in activities violative of Chinese laws and international obligations.
"If other sides want to cooperate with China in constructive way and if they have any solid evidence in that regard they can share it with us and resolve the issue," he said.
"In principle, we want to reiterate we are oppose to the unilateral sanctions and long arm jurisdiction. The US is very clear about our position on that issue," he said.
