Hot air ballooning, along with martial display of Khukhri and Gatka dance forms were among the attractions during the celebrations.
Tribute was paid to fallen soldiers of the Corps at the beginning of the event.
Among those present were a number of former Chinar Corps Commanders including Lt Gen (retd) Nirbhay Sharma, the Governor of Mizoram.
During the event, a cycling and mountaineering expedition were also flagged off.

"This year is being celebrated as the Centenary year, re-dedicating the Chinar Corps to the State and people of Kashmir," Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Satish Dua said.
He said the journey of the Corps has been integral to Jammu and Kashmir and its people.
Army shall continue to work towards development and progress of the state and its people, he said.
