The project, Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN), is coming up at the existing Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport here.
A multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) adjacent to the airport is also part of the project being developed by Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).
The delegation, which comprised top executives of Chinese firms said a lot of companies in China are willing to invest in India, particularly in Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra, a statement from MIHAN said.
MADC has already leased about 510 hectares of land to IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra for developing infotech parks and manufacturing firms like Tal, Lupin besides providing plot for an aircraft MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) facility of Air India and Boeing combine.
