The event held here yesterday saw participation of several Indians entrepreneurs who expressed their keenness to participate in the expo.
Speaking on the occasion, Tan Guangming, Vice Investigator of Bureau of Commerce of Guangdong Province said the expo will also see participation of nations along the maritime silk route.
Tan said that there are several new initiatives that have been undertaken in the expo this year, which includes providing interpreters as demanded by participating entrepreneurs.
He said the expo will also be an opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs to showcase their products and also get a platform to interact with international players.
The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo 2016 will held in Dongguan city from October 27 to 30.
The event was held in association with People's Government of Dongguan Municipality and India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC).
