A 22-year-old Chinese student of Lady Shri Ram (LSR) college, who is here on a student exchange programme, was allegedly molested by a flowerpot seller in southeast Delhi's Greater Kailash area.
The accused, Avinish alias Mahavir, was arrested after the police prepared his sketch, based on the description given by the victim, said a senior police officer.
The victim lives at a rented accommodation in Kailash Colony. On February 12, the accused was selling his flowerpots near her house, police said.
Since he pleaded with the victim about being short on cash, she bought two flowerpots from him.
After that the victim spotted him many times in the area but did not pay heed.
On February 27, he returned to her colony and asked her to buy a flowerpot again but this time she refused, said the officer.
