Chinese naval plane crashes, pilots survive

Two Chinese navy pilots survived a military aircraft crash when their fighter plane tumbled during a night training exercise in China's eastern Zhejiang Province.
The accident took place yesterday near a village in the city of Wenling when the two pilots from the East China Sea Fleet conducted flight training, Liang Yang, spokesman for the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy was quoted as saying by the state-run Xinhua news agency.
There was no other damage on the ground and the cause of the accident is under investigation, Liang said.
